Irum's role at Electrician On Call embodies all the facets of The Collin County Female Business Leader of the Year. Irum serves as the Chief Operating Officer and in her primary role at EOC she ensures a hasslefree & worryfree experience for electrical, HVAC & home improvement needs for customers. She works alongside #RealEstateProfessionals, #HomeOwnerAssociations, #Lenders, #RelocationsSpecialists, #SeniorServices, #YouthOrganizations, Police Departments, Builders and #NonProfits to help educate, inform and provide solid recommendations in the areas of Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air Quality and Cooling.
In addition to her technical role, she also serves as an advisor to other small businesses, startups, and community-based organizations to convert chaotic environments into a streamlined, efficient, profitable, productive and positive environment where everyone can thrive! Her dedication to #socialresponsibility helps other #smallbusiness become more involved with nonprofit initiatives to improve local communities.
Irum also serves as an SME (subject matter expert) for growth, stability, and philanthropic partnerships. Workshops like #ToolsANDTechnologyTrailblazers is an outreach effort that helps public schools, youth organizations and workforce solution centers to surface the hidden careers in construction, building a unified community and introducing healthy habits, all while providing care packages like food & workforce assistance.
As an educator and trainer in the Home Services & Construction Industry, Irum is referred to by students as #LadyProJones. As one of the founding members of LadyPros; a international movement for #WomenInTheTrades, Irum serves as an SME for growth, stability, and building philanthropic partnerships.
During the 2020 pandemic, she spearheaded 30 remote interns, conducted 20+ virtual career fairs including a booth at Junior Achievement Dallas that attracted over 600 local students in the DFW area, and also served as the Plano West School-to-Life Chair (#GoWolfPack!) and also created #SafetyProtocols for thousands of small businesses across the nation so they could re-open their doors as an essential business without compromising the safety of their employees and customers.
