A Journeyman Electrician is someone with a minimum of 6 years experience that has a mixture of experience ranging from repairs, remodels and new construction. A Journeyman is licensed to work under the guidance of oversight of a Master Electrician.

A Master Electrician is someone that has demonstrated over 32,000 hours of hands-on experience, various certifications, an active license from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulations in addition to recertification standards for safety, emerging technologies and standardization. A Master Electrician can pull permits, train Apprentices, and provide a wide variety of services.

At Electrician On Call we ONLY hire Journeyman and Master Electricians. This ensures you're getting a well rounded, highly skilled Electrician. Our Electricians and Techs focus on workmanship, they will never attempt to sell you anything they don't need. In fact, we believe that Technicians should only focus on their trade; that is being the best technicians as possible. They don't believe in selling customers products and services they don't need OR basing the performance of a highly skilled technician to be a salesperson; in fact, they feel very strongly against a commission-based structure which forces good techs to oversell products and services to customers that don't really need it. Wouldn't it feel great just to have a technician come by and simply fix or install something that needs to be done?
